Now Open: Republic

Eat + Drink, Local Life

Republic Render-medium

Republic calls itself “a pub for the people.” Walk into its original location in the Seven Corners district of Minneapolis on any given night, and you’ll find that it’s just that—packed with people. Locals flock to the gastro pub, which has something for everyone, from craft burgers and house-made beer brats to mock duck tacos and tempeh/quinoa salad. Plus, an abundant and continually changing draft list. (Draft Magazine lists Republic among the top 100 beer bars in America.)

In fall, 2016, the popular pub opened its second location in MSP’s Concourse D. It also expanded its offerings to become a live music venue in partnership with Saint Paul’s McNally Smith College of Music.

Travelers will experience a showcase of the region’s craft beer and fresh, flavorful food grown by area farmers—meals that clearly demonstrate pride in our state’s abundant culinary offerings. Meanwhile, McNally Smith students, whose repertoires span instruments and genres, will brandish their talents, providing pre-flight entertainment.
