Here’s one for all you sports (and beer) fans out there. There’s a new option at MSP for when you just can’t miss a game: the Twins Grill. Open as of early February (just in time for Spring Training), it boasts 29 flat screens and ample space for 220 spectators.
Whether you decide to grab some grub at the sparkling white bar, or take a booth amongst the Twins memorabilia, the biggest decision sports fans will face is which of the 16 seasonal beers to try. Also on display are oversized images of past Twins heroes (like Kirby Puckett and Kent Hrbek) integrated into the wall coverings and the Town Ball wall, a photo exhibit showcasing the state’s ballparks.
As for the menu, Target Field’s executive chef offers his Minnesota-famous Juicy Lucy burger alongside other stadium and sports bar fare– a big step up from peanuts and Cracker Jacks, if you ask us. On your way out, you can even pick up a Twins souvenir hat or jersey to take on your travels.
Not a Twins fan (gasp!)?. Don’t worry—with all those TVs, the Twins Grill has enough screens to broadcast all sorts of teams and sports. Sounds like a home run!
